Eritrea

Eritrea declared independence in 1993 and erected a new state flag. The Eritrean flag shows three triangles. Green represents agriculture and industry of the country. Red represents the blood shed in the struggle for freedom and the blue symbolizes the abundance of the sea. The yellow wreath olive branch represents a victory celebration and desire for peace.
