The flag of Indonesia was established in 1922 and became the symbol of guerrilla warfare against the Dutch. This flag has the same design as the flag of Monaco. The choice of colors was conditioned with easy access white cotton cloth and red dye, which is made from shellfish. White symbolizes purity and red represents liberty and valor.
